Travellers taking the Hong Kong Airport Express can now use Klook to pay for Airport Express tickets, and access the gates using their mobile device.

Klook, Asia's largest destination service booking platform announced it's QR-code enabled Mobile Pass for Hong Kong's Airport Express, which can be accessed both online and offline. The new mobile pass will be available on the Klook App on either iOS or Android devices, where local officials hope it will help ensure the Hong Kong Airport Express maintain operational efficiency while offering travellers a "more seamless and fastest" experience to and from the airport.

Hong Kong Airport Express operates high speed rail service for most of the day connecting them from the airport to either Hong Kong Central or Kowloon Stations. Upon the end of their Hong Kong experience, travellers on a select list of airlines can check-in for their flight at both stations before boarding the train to the airport.

"We are very excited to combine Klook's technology and MTR Corporation's innovation in re-defining the booking experience of Hong Kong Airport Express train," said Eric Gnock Fah, President & COO of Klook. "With technology at its core, we are committed at revolutionizing the in-destination service sector with railways being a key pillar. We are confident that such initiatives will benefit all stakeholders including local communities, service providers,  distribution partners, and travelers."
