When Hong Kong Airlines receives its newest Airbus A350, it will be one of the first to have the carrier’s latest business class product.
Among the highlights of the new seat will include an upgraded inflight entertainment system (IFE) arranged in a 1-2-1 configuration of the Rockwell Collins “Super Diamond” seat.
The “Super Diamond” seats are popular among travelers and airlines which is used by Qatar Airways and American Airlines. Each seat can be changed to a fully flat bed with a length of 78 inches (1.98m). Along with each seat will have the AVANT IFE systems from the Thales Group, an Android-based 17-inch touchscreen monitor which can be found on Hong Kong Airlines’ other A350s and their A330s.
