Citing an “unprecedented level of disruption” in operations, Philippine low cost carrier Cebu Pacific cancelled a series of domestic flights between Sunday (April 28) and Tuesday (April 30).

Among the cancelled flights involve mostly flights to/from Manila and Cebu, as well as some flights in Mindanao.

“Efforts have been made to minimize the disruption to our passengers in the past week. However, we realize that current operating conditions, particularly in our Manila hub, necessitate a temporary reduction of flights,” the airline company said. The airline added:  “In order to create more space in our schedule for operational recovery and minimize rolling delays, it will be necessary for us to cancel the following Cebu Pacific and Cebgo flights."
