After making reductions in its services Hong Kong, Chicago-based United Airlines is making further cuts on its flights between the US and Hong Kong.

The Chicago-based carrier will reduce its frequenices on flights between Newark and Hong Kong between January 12 and March 27, 2020. The airline will reduce its services on the route from daily to a twice/thrice-weekly service.

Along with the reduction of flights from Newark, United will reduce one of its twice-weekly San Francisco-Hong Kong flights to a five-times weekly service.

Following the ongoing Hong Kong protests, United has cut routes to/from Hong Kong Chicago and Guam in September and October.
