To start off the year, Vietnam Airlines announced it will start new direct flights between Da Nang, Vietnam to Shanghai – its 19th route between Vietnam and China.

The new service will start on January 19 and will operate three-times a week using Airbus A321 aircraft.

Vietnam Airlines’ new route will follow the introduction of other services by the airline to China. In November the airline launched flights from both Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi to Shenzhen. The airline currently operates flights to major Chinese cities including Beijing, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Shanghai, and Shenzhen.
