As China now turns its attention to mitigate the importing of new Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases, Beijing has announced it will quarantine passengers arriving to the city with all international arrivals at Beijing-Capital Airport.

The move will affect all airlines including foreign airlines such as British Airways, Malaysia Airlines, Royal Air Maroc, and Royal Brunei Airlines which have shifted operations to the recently opened Daxing Airport. Their flights will be redirected back to Capital Airport.

Chinese state media announced the move as the country will quarantine passengers arriving in the country at Beijing-Capital for 14 days.

Along with the shift to Capital Airport, passengers arriving from Italy, Iran, South Korea and Japan will arrive at a designated area of the terminal.
