Amid the ongoing Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, AirAsia's subsidiaries in Indonesia and Thailand will be cancelling flights next month.

Effective April 1, Thai AirAsia and AirAsia Indonesia will be suspending flights with the Indonesia subsidiary suspending all flights – both international and domestic – until April 21 (domestic) and May 17 (international).

In Thailand, Thai AirAsia will be suspending domestic flights between April 1-30 in accordance to the declaration of emergency from the Royal Thai government. The carrier previously announced the suspension of all international flights between March 22 to April 25.

Both carriers will join other AirAsia group subsidiaries such as Philippines AirAsia in suspending all flights. The group had announced AirAsia Berhad will be suspending most of its flights starting the end of March.
