In an update on its website, Etihad Airways announced plans to ramp up flight operations during the month of July.

The Abu Dhabi-based carrier plans to operate flights to 40 destinations throughout its network in North America, Europe, Asia/Middle East, and Europe subject to government regulations.

Among the prominent destinations that Etihad will serve include Chicago, New York, London, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, and Munich.

In Asia, the airlines' planned destinations include Tokyo, Seoul, Beijing, Bangkok, Singapore, Jakarta, and Kuala Lumpur. It will also operate flights to select destinations in the Middle East and India such as Delhi, Mumbai, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Riyadh.

Within Australia, the carrier will operate flights to/from Sydney and Melbourne.

On its website, Etihad has advised travelers that cabin baggage will be required to be checked-in. Customers will be able to bring aboarda personal item such as a laptop bag, backpack, or handbag no heavier than 5 kilograms (11 pounds).
