Singapore's Scoot will be relaunching flights between Japan and Taiwan during the month of September.

According to its updated flight schedules on its website, the budget carrier plans to resume flights to Tokyo-Narita and Osaka-Kansai on a once-weekly frequency, both making a stop in Taiwan.

Starting September 9, Scoot will operate flights from Singapore to Narita via Taipei. It will be followed with flights from Singapore to Osaka via Kaohsiung starting on September 19. Both routes will use Scoot's Boeing 787-9 aircraft.

However, the airline notes that reservations on the Singapore-Kaoshiung-Osaka route will not be open for bookings from Singapore to Osaka. Bookings will only be allowed on the separate sectors of Singapore-Kaohsiung and Kaohsiung-Osaka.
