After serving only the return segment, ZIPAIR Tokyo will launch passenger services from Tokyo to Bangkok in January 2021. It will increase the flight frequencies the following month.

Starting January 9th, the Tokyo-based budget carrier will commence passenger flights from Tokyo-Narita to Bangkok-Suvarnabhumi. Previously, passenger flights were only operated on the Bangkok-Tokyo route on a daily basis.

The following month, ZIPAIR Tokyo will operate both outbound/return segments on a daily basis starting February 1.

In a statement, ZIPAIR states that the flights from Tokyo to Bangkok will be operated on a semi-commercial basis approved by the Thai government. Only passengers with a Certificate of Entry issued by the Thai Embassy or Consulate will be allowed to board the flight.

Below is the flight schedule for the airline's flights to/from Bangkok

- Narita-Bangkok  ZG51 1640H 2200H  Once-weekly every Saturday (January 9-30), then Daily starting February 1

- Bangkok-Narita  ZG52 2330H 0715H(+1)  Daily

Bangkok is among the first two destinations for ZIPAIR Tokyo as it commenced operations in 2020. After the planned passenger service launch was postponed, the airline shifted to cargo operations. Along with Bangkok, the airline also operates flights to Seoul-Incheon and the recently launched service to Honolulu, Hawaii.
