Amid the flight suspensions to/from the United Kingdom due to a new strain of COVID-19, Cathay Pacific will operate limited flights from Hong Kong to London to assist customers who need to travel to the UK.

While flights to the UK (London-Heathrow and Manchester) remain suspended through January 10, the Hong Kong-based airline will operate CX251 from Hong Kong to London-Heathrow on select dates: January 12, 14, 15, 17, 18, 21, and 24.

The airline has also advised it has cancelled the earlier scheduled flight to Manchester on January 15.

The flights will operate on a one-way basis only. All return flights from the UK to Hong Kong remain suspended until January 25 due to entry restrictions imposed by the Hong Kong SAR government.

Hong Kong and many other countries and territories have placed restrictions on travelers who have recently visited the United Kingdom. The city has banned travel to the city who has visited the UK within the past 14 days starting on December 21.
