The Philippine province of Cavite is scrapping plans for a mega airport at Sangley Point south of the capital city of Manila.

Citing “various deficiencies” in required documents, Cavite Province Governor Juanito Victor Remulla approved the cancellation of the project referred to as the Sangley Point International Airport.
