Indian-based carrier Vistara will be launching new flights to Male, Maldives this March.

Announced through a Twitter post, the airline will mount non-stop flights from Mumbai to Male on a thrice-weekly basis starting March 3. The flights will operate as part of a special travel bubble arrangement between India and the Maldives.

The airline will deploy Airbus A320neo aircraft with a three-class configuration on the route. It will also accept customers meeting the visa/entry requriements set by both countries.

We are delighted at the opportunity of taking India’s best airline to more places and offering the very best of air travel to people flying between India and the Maldives while maintaining the highest standards of safety and hygiene,” said Vistara Chief Executive leslie Thng.
