In anticipation of the opening of the Phuket Sandbox project, UAE-based carriers Etihad and Emirates have announced plans to operate flights to Phuket when the resort destination reopens for vaccinated tourists on July 1. Also, KLM announced plans to start flights to Phuket later this year.
