Taiwan-based startup airline Starlux Airlines has announced plans to launch a new route to the Philippine capital of Manila next month.

The new Taipei-Manila flights will begin on July 8 and will operate on a twice-weekly schedule. Starlux plans to gradually increase services to thrice-weekly in August.
