The National Airlines Garuda Indonesia targeting the seat load factor (SLF) in flights
Jakarta - Mumbai (via Bangkok) vv will reached the level of average SLF to more
than 80 percents in the first week after the inaugural flight operations Jakarta Mumbai.
CEO
& President Garuda Indonesia M. Arif Wibowo said, “The Market
landscape of India, especially Mumbai being particularly promising
potential,
we are optimistic to meet the level of seat load factor above 80
percent in the first week of operation of these services Jakarta -
Mumbai via transit Bangkok,” said Arif after a meeting with business
partners and travel agents in Mumbai.
“In
line with promising passenger growth trend Jakarta Mumbai route, we
hope in the future we could serve direct flight, either through base
hub of Jakarta and Denpasar to other promising destinations in India.”
Arif added.
“We

stakeholders in Mumbai so now Garuda Indonesia able to expand network in
India,
particularly in Mumbai which is one of the populous airport in India
with a variety of connectivity strategic destinations of more than 90
destinations in India,” said Arif.
Meanwhile, Assistant Deputy if The Asia Pasific Market Development
Ministry of Tourism Vincencius Jumadu said the direct link flight of Jakarta – Mumbai
can countribute to increasing the number of India tourist visit to Indonesia up
to 1 million visitor in 2017.
Bangkok
was chosen as a connecting hub for Jakarta - Mumbai considered of the
potential double leisure opportunity on the flight of Jakarta –
Mumbai which connected through Suvarnabhumi Airport Bangkok. Through
the connecting flight, passengers could freely choose their travel
arrangement to several tourist destinations by convenient flight
connectivity.
The

government program the Ministry of Tourism Indonesia to increase the
