Xiamen Air will be adding the Airbus A320neo to its fleet.

Announced by Xiamen Air's major shareholder China Southern to the Shanghai Stock Exchange, the Xiamen, China -based airline will take on 40 Airbus A320neos.

With the order, the airline will adding Airbus aircraft to its fleet for the first time. According to planespotters.net, Xiamen Air currently operates an all-Boeing aircraft fleet including 150 737NGs and 12 787 Dreamliners.

At the end of August 2022, Airbus reports that the total number of A320neo Family firm orders reached over 8,500 from more than 130 customers worldwide.
