South Korean hyrbid airline Air Premia will add a second destination in the United States, and the first on the US East Coast with the addition of Newark to its network.

According to Aeroroutes, Air Premia will launch the new route between Seoul-Incheon and New York-Newark from May 22. Using Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, the airline will operate four weekly flights on the route.

Air Premia's Boeing 787-9s are equipped with 309 seats in a dual-class configuration - 59 premium and 253 economy.

The new route will be the first direct flight between Seoul and Newark. Asiana and Korean Air operates flights to New York-JFK.

The New York City/Newark area will be the second destination in the US for Air Premia. The airline currently operates flights to Los Angeles.
