STARLUX is expanding its presence in the United States with the announcement of new flights to San Francisco, and plans to add Seattle to its network.

From December 16, STARLUX will operate three weekly flights between Taipei-Taoyuan to San Francisco. STARLUX will use its Airbus A350-900XWB aircraft on the rout with 306 seats in a four-class configuration – 4 First, 26 Business, 36 Premium Economy, and 240 in Economy.

“With our daily Los Angeles-Taipei service and new San Francisco destination, STARLUX is thrilled to offer our U.S.-based passengers increased convenience traveling from North America to Asia,” said Glenn Chai, CEO of STARLUX Airlines.

“With San Francisco’s proximity to Silicon Valley and status as a significant political, economic, and tourism hub, the City by the Bay has established itself as a top travel destination. And with one-third of its population of Asian descent, our new route will cater to these travelers’ needs too, whether they are visiting family, vacationing, or traveling for work.”

San Francisco will be STARLUX's second destination in the US, adding to the 19 destinations the airline currently serves.

In addition to the announcement of its new flights to San Francisco, Chai also revealed STARLUX's plans to launch flights to Seattle.

“STARLUX strives to continue expanding and is also planning a new Seattle route next year,” Chai added.
