Spanish flag carrier Iberia will add an extra flight frequency to Tokyo between August and November.
Spanish flag carrier Iberia will add an extra flight frequency to Tokyo between August and November.
Currently operating three weekly flights between Madrid and Tokyo Narita (Outbound: Monday, Thursday, and Saturday/Return: Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday), a fourth weekly frequency will be added for IB281/IB282 effective August 7 through November 10. The additional flight will operate every Friday, and will arrive at Narita the following day.
Iberia will use tri-class Airbus A350 aircraft with 348 seats, including Business, Premium Economy, and Economy seats.
According to Iberia, it will increase its capacity between Madrid and Tokyo with an additional 9,000 seats (+33%) during the coming months. A total of 150,000 seats will be offered by the airline on the route.
Iberia is the lone airline operating flights between the two cities.
