Philippine Airlines to go daily on Manila-Melbourne route from November 19

Ahead of the year-end holiday season, Philippine Airlines increase its services to Melbourne offering daily flights starting November 19.

Currently operating five weekly flights, the Manila-Melbourne flights PR209/PR210 will go daily with an updated flight schedule. From November 19, PR209 will depart Manila at 2020H before arriving at 0730H the following morning. The return flight PR210 will depart Melbourne at 0920H and arrive back at Manila at 1445H.

According to Philippine Airlines, travelers from the Philippines and across its international network will enjoy easier access to Melbourne. Australian travelers can connect via Manila to destinations in the Philippines, Asia, North America, and the Middle East. It will also provide more cargo capacity to support Philippine exports and strengthen trade links between the Philippines and Australia.

By the year’s end, Philippine Airlines will offer a total of 24 weekly flights from Manila to four cities in Australia: Brisbane (daily), Sydney (daily), Melbourne (daily), and Perth (thrice-weekly). Widebody Airbus A330-300 aircraft are used on the flights to Sydney and Melbourne, while narrowbody A321s are used to Perth and Brisbane.
