All Nippon Airways (ANA) has unveiled its new, next-generation business class seat named “THE Room FX.”
Revealed during the Paris Airshow 2025, the new business class seat will be the world's largest in its class, and will be featured onboard ANA's Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.
The new business class seat was designed and developed in partnership with French-based aircraft seat manufacturer Safran Seats and British design company Acumen. According to ANA, the THE Room seat builds upon the design principles of the previous version on its Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.

THE Room “Future Experience”
ANA announced that the 787-9s that will feature the new THE Room FX (Future Experience) seats will have a total of 206 seats (48 of the Business class seats, 21 Premium Economy, 137 Economy).

The fully-flat seats in the Business class cabin will have a 1-2-1 configuration alternating between front and rear facing seats, and will have a privacy door. With a pitch of 103-inches, each seat has a length of 76.5-inches, width of 41.5-inches, and width (waist area) of 27-inches. Passengers will be able to enjoy their inflight entertainment on a 24-inch HD monitor.
ANA will introduce for the first time onboard its aircraft wireless charging, USB charging ports (Type A and Type C), and Bluetooth audio connection. In addition, an AC Power outlet is also provided.
