Airbus is adding to its year-end haul of aircraft orders from China with a newly reported order for 60 A320neo Family aircraft from Air China.

In a stock filing posted on December 30, 2025, the Beijing-based Air China reported the order is valued at around USD $9.5 billion at list prices. Deliveries are scheduled to take places between 2028 through 2032.

According to Air China, the aircraft will support fleet renewal and capacity growth while helping to reduce fuel consumption and emissions compared to older-generation narrowbody jets. The 60 newly ordered aircraft will be split between Air China and a wholly owned subsidiary.

Air China's subsidiaries include Air Macau, Beijing Airlines, Dalian Airlines, Shandong Airlines, Shenzhen Airlines, and Sichuan Airlines.

The new order follows the announcements by Juneyao Airlines and Spring Airlines with their orders for A320neo (25 for Juneyao Airlines and 30 for Spring Airlines) before the end of the year. Hong Kong-based China Aircraft Leasing Group Holdings Limited (CALC) also announced an order for 60 A320neo Family aircraft
