Air China recently welcomed the delivery of its first Airbus A319neo.


The Beijing, China-based airline welcomed the first of its A319neo – registration B-32LD – as it arrived at Beijing Capital Airport after its ferry flight from Airbus' Hamburg, Germany facility via Astana on June 1.


Powered by two CFM International LEAP-1A engines, Air China's new A319neo has 128 seats in a two-class configuration (8 Business and 120 Economy).


According to planespotters.net, Air China has a fleet of around 500 aircraft as of June 2025.  The new A319neo adds to the A319 fleet which comprises of 23 A319s. Air China received its first A319 in 2004.


Air China is the fourth operator of the A319neo in Mainland China. Among the airlines operating the narrowbody jets include China Southern, Tibet Airlines, and West Air.
