Air India announces increased flights to Bangkok, Colombo, and Kathmandu

Next month, Air India will increase its flights to Bangkok, Colombo, and Kathmandu.


The Gurugram, India-based airline announced the flight increases to the three cities starting July 7. A sixth daily flight will be added between Delhi and Kathmandu (x35 weekly to x42 weekly), a second daily flight between Delhi and Colombo (x7 weekly to x14 weekly), and a third daily flight between Mumbai and Bangkok Suvarnabhumi (x13weekly to x18 weekly).


The increased flights will provide an addition 7,000 seats combined to the three cities, as  Air India will use narrowbody aircraft with three cabin classes including Premium Economy.


Air India will operate a total of x42 weekly flights to Kathmandu (from Delhi), x28 weekly to Colombo (from Chennai, Delhi, and Mumbai), and x46 weekly to Bangkok (from Delhi and Mumbai).
