AirAsia X has announced it will expand its presence in South Korea with the resumption of its route between Kuala Lumpur and Busan this summer.


From June 17, AirAsia X will resume its Kuala Lumpur-Busan route with four weekly flights (Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday). The outbound flight – D7630 – will depart Kuala Lumpur at 0220H and arrive at Busan at 0945H. The return flight – D7631 – will depart 1100H before arriving back at Kuala Lumpur at 1630H.


“We’re thrilled to bring back this beloved route and proud to be the only airline in Malaysia operating direct flights from Kuala Lumpur to Busan, a city of many wonders,” said Benyamin Ismail, CEO, AirAsia X.  “AirAsia X’s focus has always been on making long-haul travel more accessible and resuming  this route reflects our disciplined approach to growing our network whilst enabling more travellers to enjoy new travel experiences and adventures.”


The Kuala Lumpur-Busan route will be AirAsia X's second route in South Korea. From Kuala Kumpur, AirAsia X operates twice-daily flights (14-times weekly) to Incheon near Seoul.


Busan will be the 21stdestination in AirAsia X's route network.
