AirAsia is continuing its expansion from its second largest hub in Malaysia – Kota Kinabalu – with a new route to Kaoshiung, Taiwan.
AirAsia is continuing its expansion from its second largest hub in Malaysia – Kota Kinabalu – with a new route to Kaoshiung, Taiwan.
From November 17, the Malaysia-based budget carrier will launch the new four-times weekly service (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday) to the southern Taiwanese city.
According to AirAsia, the new route follows the positive tourism demand between Kuala Lumpur and Kaoshiung. The airline repoted it served more than 80,000 passengers flown between the two cities since November 2022.
Kaoshiung will be the 15th international destination operated by AirAsia from Kota Kinabalu, and the only airline operating flights on the new route. The airline will offer more than 105 flights throughout its network from Kota Kinabalu.
