First and Business class passengers and Cathay Gold members traveling aboard Cathay Pacific flights starting November 15 will be able to enjoy complimentary inflight Wi-Fi.
In a statement, the Hong Kong-based carrier announced complimentary Wi-Fi will be available to all First and Business class passengers along with Diamond and Gold members regardless of cabin class. The airline also plans to roll out the same service to all Cathay members travelling in Premium Economy by year's end.
“At Cathay Pacific, we recognise how important it is for our passengers to stay connected in the air, whether they are travelling for business or leisure,” said Erica Peng, Director, Customer Travel at Cathay. “With the extension of our complimentary Wi-Fi service, we are continuing to further refine the travel experience for our valued passengers.”
Passengers will be able to connect on one device at a time, and switch between devices any time during the flight.
Across all cabins, passengers will have complimentary access to all pages on the airline's website and the Cathay Shop.
