Due to impact on global prices due as a result of the ongoing situation in the Middle East, Cebu Pacific has announced a series of flight frequency reductions on select routes and the suspension of several international routes from Davao, Iloilo, and Clark.
In an advisory posted on March 23, 2026, the Philippine-based budget carrier said: “Cebu Pacific (CEB) will implement temporary network adjustments, including frequency reductions and flight cancellations, in response to the Middle East crisis.”
“These changes are driven by the impact of the crisis on global fuel prices, which have more than doubled compared with 2025 averages.”
Among the international routes that will see suspensions will include two routes to Bangkok Don Mueang from Iloilo and Davao. The Davao-Bangkok flights (5J5964/5J5965) will be suspended between April 13 through October 23, and Iloilo-Bangkok (5J5970/5J5971) from April 17 through October 24.
The Iloilo –Singapore route (5J283/5J284) will be suspended beween June 15-October 24.
Services between Clark and Hanoi (5J5872/5J5873) will be suspended between May 2 through October 25.
The previous suspension of flights between Manila and Dubai will continue until March 28.
Flight Frequency Reductions
Cebu pacific wil reduce its flights between Cebu and Singapore (5J547/5J548) from 7 weekly to 5-times weekly (Effective dates Outbound:Thursday, Saturday/Return: Friday, Sunday).
The routes from Manila that will see service reductions include the following:
Jakarta (5J759/5J760)– Seven weekly to four-times weekly (Effective dates Outbound: Tuesday, Thursdsay, Saturday/Return: Wednesday, Friday, Sunday)
Kuala Lumpur (5J501/5J502) – Seven weekly to five-times weekly (Effective dates Outbound: Tuesday, Thursdsay, Saturday/Return: Wednesday, Friday, Sunday)
Melbourne (5J049/5J050)– Seven weekly to four-times weekly (Effective dates Outbound: May 14, 28/Return: May 15, 29)
Sydney (5J039/5J040)– Seven weekly to five-times weekly (Effective dates Outbound: May 4,8,13,17,22,27,31/Return: May 5, 9, 14, 18, 23, 28, June 1 )
Cebu Pacific has advised affected customers about their options to change their flight booking, refund, or to convert the ticket value into their travel fund.
“CEB is proactively taking measures to ensure stable and sustainable operations. These network adjustments have been carefully implemented to address the current impact, with the rest of our network expected to operate as scheduled.”
