Cebu Pacific is transferring more flight using turboprop aircraft from Manila to Clark, and will launch a new Cebu-El Nido route
Cebu Pacific has announced the transfer of flights from Manila to both Naga (Camarines Sur) and San Jose (Mindoro) operated with turboprop aircraft to Clark International Airport. The Philippine-based budget carrier will also launch a new route between Cebu and El Nido.
From October 26, Cebu Pacific flights from Manila to Naga and San Jose operated by its subsidiary Cebgo will be relocated to Clark. With the transfer, the current Manila-Naga flights will be decreased from twice-daily to once-daily.
In line with the Philippine government's mandate to shift commercial flights using turboprop aircraft away from NAIA by March 2026, Cebu Pacific moved flights from Manila to both Masbate and Siargao to Clark.
Cebu-El Nido
Separately, Cebu Pacific will launch its new Cebu-El Nido route with daily flights starting October 26.
“El Nido has long been one of the country’s most sought-after destinations, and soon it will be more accessible to those flying from Cebu and nearby provinces,” said Xander Lao, Cebu Pacific president and chief commercial officer.
“By adding this route ahead of the holiday season, we are not only strengthening inter-island connectivity but also creating more opportunities for every Juan to discover the best of the Philippines,” Lao added.
Cebu Pacific will be the second airline operating flights on the route, which is currently served by AirSWIFT.
