China Airlines, Mandarin Airlines in-town check-in available at Hong Kong Station

Passengers departing out of the Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) on flights operated by China Airlines and its subsidiary Mandarin Airlines will be able to check-in for their flights using the in-town check-in service at Hong Kong Station on the Airport Express.



Passengers departing out of the Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) on flights operated by China Airlines and its subsidiary Mandarin Airlines will be able to check-in for their flights using the in-town check-in service at Hong Kong Station on the Airport Express.


In a statement posted on March 16, Hong Kong's MTR Corporation stated China Airlines and Mandarin Airlines passengers can complete the one-stop self-service check-in procedures and baggage drop at Hong Kong Station starting March 17. The in-town check-in for both airlines will be during the day (9AM-6PM daily). After check-in, passengers can get to HKIA using the Airport Express. 


With the addition of China Airlines and Mandarin Airlines, six major local and overseas airlines provide check-in services at Hong Kong and Kowloon stations. Passengers departing on flights operated by Cathay Pacific, Hong Kong Airlines, and Qantas can check-in for their flights at both stations, while Singapore Airlines' check-in services are available at just Hong Kong Station.  


The check-in service is available for flights scheduled to depart between 24 hours and at least 90 minutes before departure.
