China Southern is expanding its presence in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia with a new connection to Guangzhou.
From September 2, China Southern will launch its new route between Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport and Riyadh's King Khalid International Airport with three weekly flights (Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday). According to aeroroutes, the Guangzhou-based airline will use Airbus A330-300 aircraft on the route.
According to China Southern, the new route will add over 86,000 seats weekly to address the growing demand for travel between Saudi Arabia and China. The new route will be launched in partnership with the Saudi Air Connectivity Program, the Saudi Tourism Authority, and Riyadh Airports Company.
Guangzhou will be the third route operated by China Southern to Riyadh. The airline currently operates flights to Riyadh from Beijing-Daxing and Shenzhen.
