EVA Air announced it will introduce its new Premium Economy product on the inaugural flights to Dallas this winter.
The Taipei, Taiwan-based airline announced the introduction of its all-new fourth generation Premium Economy seats will be on the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft that will be used on the new Taipei Taoyuan-Dallas Fort Worth route launching on October 3.
Previously EVA Air announced the flights on the new route will be operated thrice-weekly from October 3 before gradually increased increased to five-times weekly from November 18 and daily by December 15.

EVA Air's new, fourth generation Premium Economy seat is being introduced on nine of the airline's 787-9 aircraft. The three-class 787-9s will have 278 seats (26 Royal Laurel Class, 28 Premium Economy, and 224 Economy) in a 2-3-2 configuration. The seats feature a cradle motion recline mechanism with a 42-inch pitch, a 15.6-inch high-resolution widescreen monitor, side privacy panels, side privacy panels, a tray table with a holder for personal devices, and 110V AC and USB combo power outlets. Storage spaces are available in the armrests, seatback compartments, and dedicated bottle holders. A wheelchair-accessible armrest on aisle seats ensures that flight attendants can assist passengers with special needs.
According to EVA Air, the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner with the new Premium Economy seats will then be operated on flights from Taipei Taoyuan to Jakarta, Munich, Milan, Vienna, and San Francisco.
