EVA Air announced it will boost its network in North America with the launch of a new route to Washington DC this upcoming summer.
During a recent press event, EVA Air President Sun Chia-ming said the new route – between Taipei Taoyuan and Washington will start in July with four weekly flights. The airline will use Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft on the route.
Further details about the new route – the first direct flight to the capital city of the US from Taiwan - will be announced later.
With the new route to Washington DC, EVA Air will operate a combined total of 98 weekly flights to 10 destinations in North America. EVA Air currently operates flights to 7 US destinations: Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, and New York-JFK.
