Emirates has announced its plans to deploy Starlink Wi-Fi across its fleet.

Emirates has announced its plans to deploy Starlink Wi-Fi across its fleet.

Announced as the Dubai Airshow 2025 began, Emirates stated it will install Starlink across its 232 aircraft over the next two years starting November 2025. The rollout is expected to be completed by mid-2027. 14 aircraft will be fitted with Starlink per month.

The first Emirates Boeing 777 to have Starlink installed – a 777-300ER registered as A6-EPF – is currently displayed at the Dubai Airshow. Emirates will install Starlink on the first Airbus A380 in February 2026. Each 777 will be installed with two antennae, while Emirates A380s will be the first to have three antennae installed.

Once installed, passengers will be able to enjoy free Wi-Fi access across all cabins with a one-click access – no payment or special Skywards membership required.

In a statement, Emirates President Sir Tim Clark said: “Partnering with Starlink is another defining moment in our continuous commitment to ensuring our customers ‘fly better’. We're introducing the world's fastest Wi-Fi, elevating what passengers can expect from inflight connectivity, like seamless productivity, real-time communication with loved ones, and uninterrupted connection to their digital lives. But that's just one piece of the transformation happening across our fleet.”

“We’re excited to transform Emirates’ travel experience and support the rapid installation of Starlink while maintaining focus on delivering overall quality of service,” added Chad Gibbs, VP of Starlink Business Operations, SpaceX.

The installation of Starlink onboard its fleet coincides with Emirates' current cabin retrofit program. Emirates reports that the refurbishment of 76 aircraft have been completed.

Emirates is the latest airline to partner with Starlink to provide high-speed, free inflight Wi-Fi access. Starlink's major airline partners include United Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines, WestJet, Air France, SAS, Air New Zealand, and Qatar Airways.
