Emirates is expanding its network with China with the launch of flights to Hangzhou this summer.

From July 30, Emirates will launch the new daily non-stop service between Dubai and Hangzhou. The airline will use three-class Boeing 777-300ER aircraft on the route with 354 seats – 8 First Class suites, 42 Business, and 304 in Economy.

According to Emirates, the new flights are timed for connections to 38 cities in Europe, 22 in Africa, 11 in the Middle East, and to Brazil and Argentina.

Hangzhou will be Emirates' fifth destination in Mainland China. The airline currently operates flights to Beijing Capital, Guangzhou, Shanghai Pudong, and Shenzhen.

“Launching a new Dubai-Hangzhou route marks a pivotal moment in our operations in the Chinese mainland and broader East Asia region,” said Adnan Kazim, Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, Emirates. “As an emerging global hub for innovation, e-commerce and advanced manufacturing, Hangzhou will open doors to new opportunities for our passenger and cargo operations, further strengthening the vital economic and technological exchanges between the Middle East and China.”

With the addition of the new service to Hangzhou, Emirates will operate a total of 49 weekly flights to Mainland China – twice daily each to Beijing and Shanghai, and daily each to Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Hangzhou.
