In response to increased demand across its network and to offer more opportunities for travelers to experience its inflight products, Emirates is upgrading its services during the winter season to select destinations in Europe, Asia, and South America.
In response to increased demand across its network and to offer more opportunities for travelers to experience its inflight products, Emirates is upgrading its services during the winter season to select destinations in Europe, Asia, and South America. Among the moves will include the deployment of its retrofitted Boeing 777s and Airbus A380s.
The Dubai, UAE-based airline announced the schedule updates which will cover select cities including Shanghai, Singapore, Milan, Zurich, Rio de Janeiro, and Buenos Aires. With the introduction of the retrofitted aircrat, the airline will be offering more of its premium products as well as introducing its Premium Economy seats to more cities.
All schedule updates are effective from October 26:
Asia
Shanghai Pudong – After being served with a retrofitted Boeing 777 from July 20, Emirates will ugprade the aircraft used on EK302/EK303 to the A380. The second daily flight (EK304/EK305) will see the use of the retrofitted 777s.
Singapore – The third daily flight (EK314/EK315) will be served with the A380.
Europe
Milan – A third daily flight will be added (EK101/EK102) using Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.
Zurich – The second daily flight (EK85/EK86) will be replace the current retrofitted 777s used on the flights to an A380 from February 1, 2026. On the same day, Emirates will introduce its Premium Economy seats on the other daily flight – EK87/EK88.
South America
Rio de Janeiro/Buenos Aires – The linked flights – EK247/EK248 – will be operated daily (currently five-times weekly).
Since the start of its Boeing 777/Airbus A380 retrofit program in November 2022, Emirates has retrofitted a total of 60 aircraft.
