Etihad has announced it will bring back its seasonal flights to Zanzibar next summer.
According to Etihad, the Abu Dhabi-based carrier will relaunch the seasonal service to Zanzibar between June 14 through September 6. Etihad will operate four weekly flights (Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) on the route using Airbus A320 aircraft.
Zanzibar will be Etihad's 30th new destination announced this year. The seasonal service will be support by Etihad's larger and more complete European netework, with multiple double-daily services now feeding Abu Dhabi.
“With two major European banks creating efficient connections in both directions, Zanzibar is now more accessible than ever for guests from Europe and the GCC. The seasonal service taps into strong summer demand for the destination from across these regions and complements Etihad’s growing global network,” the airline said in its statement.
