Garuda Indonesia plans to add 8 new aircraft this year.


In a report from The Jakarta Globe, Garuda Indonesia's president director Irfan Setiaputra stated the additional aircraft will include four Boeing 737-800 narrow-body and two widebody 777-300ER and  two Airbus A330-300.


“With these additions, Garuda Indonesia will operate up to 80 aircraft by the end of 2024,” Irfan was quoted saying in the report.


According to planespotters.net, Garuda Indonesia operates a fleet of 73.
