Hong Kong Airlines will add to its presence in Taiwan with a new route to Taichung.
From July 19, the Hong Kong-based carrier will start daily services between Hong Kong and Taichung. According to aeroroutes, the airline will use Airbus A320 aircraft with an all-Econony Class configuration on the route.
Located south of Taipei, Taichung is Taiwan's second largest city in terms of population.
The new service will add to the carrier's current four daily flights to Taiwan's capital Taipei. In addition to Hong Kong Airlines, budget carrier HK Express currently operates flights to Taichung from Hong Kong.
