Global digital onboard solution provider Immfly has announced it will install its advanced Wireless Entertainment (W-IFE) system onboard China Airlines' Airbus A330 aircraft.
Building upon its relationship with China Airlines started two years ago, the Barcelona, Spain-based Immfly will install the W-IFE system on more than 10 Airbus A330 aircraft operated by the Taiwan-based airline under a five-year agreement.
Onboard the A330s, passengers will be able to access inflight entertainment options including movies, music, magazines, and online shopping through their tablet or mobile devices.
Previously, Immfly installed its Fantasy Sky Wireless Entertainment System onboard China Airlines' narrowbody Boeing 737-800 aircraft fleet. According to China Airlines, mobile streaming is the “preferred choice for the new generation of travelers” with a utilization rate of up to 90% so far this year.
