Indonesia AirAsia will launch a new route connecting Denpasar (Bali) and Melbourne next March.


From March 20, 2026, Indonesia AirAsia will operate daily flights between Denpasar and Melbourne. After an overnight flight from Denpasar, the first return flight will depart the following morning (March 21, 2026).


Melbourne will be Indonesia AirAsia's fourth destination in Australia, following Perth, Darwin, and Adelaide. Upon arrival at Denpasar, travelers can make onward connections to domestic Indonesian destinations such as Jakarta, Surabaya, Lombok, and Labuan Bajo, and other regional cities such as Phuket, Bangkok, Singapore, and Kuala Lumpur.


Between Melbourne and Denpasar, five airlines currently operates flights on the route - Qantas/Jetstar, Virgin Australia, Garuda Indonesia, and Batik Air Malaysia.
