Following the introduction of its new A350-1000 aircraft in January, Japan Airlines (JAL) announced it will start using the widebody jets on flights to Dallas next month.

According to aeroroutes, JAL has scheduled the first flights between Tokyo-Haneda and Dallas-Fort Worth using the A350-1000s on April 17. The A350 will be initially used on alternating days along with Boeing 777-300ER aircraft on the route.

Selected to be the replacement of its Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, JAL first introduced the A350-1000 on flights between Haneda and New York-JFK on January 24. The Tokyo-based carrier ordered 13 of the largest variant of the A350 family of aircraft.

Featuring some of JAL's latest cabin products, JAL's A350-1000s can accommodate up to 239 passengers in a four-class configuration. The aircraft features 6 First Class and 54 Business Class suites with privacy doors, along with 24 Premium Economy and 155 Economy seats. Charging ports and in-flight Wi-Fi is available for all passengers.
