Jetstar announced its latest route between Australia and Denpasar (Bali) which will depart from Avalon Airport near Melbourne next summer.

As part of what Jetstar describes as its biggest expansion out of Avalon Airport, Jetstar will operate four-weekly flights between Avalon and Denpasar (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday) from March 23, 2026. The services will then be increased to five-times weekly  (Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday) from March 30.

According to Jetstar, the budget subsidiary of the Qantas Group will deploy its Airbus A321LR aircraft on the route – its first international service from Avalon. The flights will provide over 120,000 seats per year from Avalon to the popular Indonesian resort destination.

The Avalon-Denpasar route will be Jetstar's 11th direct service to Bali from Australia. Jetstar operates flights to Denpasar from Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Newcastle, Gold Coast, Brisbane, Cairns, and Darwin. Jetstar will further increase its services to Denpasar with a new route from the Sunshine Coast starting March 25, 2026.

In addition to the new Avalon-Denpasar route, Jetstar will boost its flights from Avalon to Adelaide (seven weekly flights from March 26, 2026) and up to five extra weekly flights to Brisbane. From Avalon, Jetstar operates flights to Adelaide, Sydney, Brisbane, and the Gold Coast.

The new flights will also be an addition to the overall Qantas Group's services to Denpasar from the Melbourne area. Jetstar operates four daily flights from Melbourne, along with Qantas' five weekly flights.
