Korean Air to resume Busan-Guam route

Korean Air will resume its route between the southern South Korean city of Busan and the US Pacific territory of Guam.



Korean Air will resume its route between the southern South Korean city of Busan and the US Pacific territory of Guam.


In an advisory on its website, Korean Air will operate daily flights between Busan Gimhae Airport and Guam starting August 1. The outbound flight – KE2259 - will have varying departure dates during the week but will depart Busan in the evening and arrive early in the following morning. The return flight – KE2260 – will depart Guam and arrive back at Busan in the morning.

Based on the airline's website, Korean Air will use narrowbody Airbus A321neo aircraft on the route featuring 181 seats including 8 in Prestige Class (Business) and 174 in Economy.


Previously operated until 2018, the daily service between Busan and Guam will add to Korean Air's two daily flights on the Seoul Incheon-Guam route (KE421/KE422 and KE423/KE424). 


Korean Air's budget subsidiary Jin Air currently operates daily flights between Busan and Guam.
