Travelers from Singapore will have a new connection to Mongolia as MIAT Mongolian Airlines announced the first direct route to the city from Mongolia's capital city Ulaanbaatar.
Announced by MIAT Mongolian Airlines and Changi Airport Group (CAG) on their social media pages, MIAT Mongolia Airlines will launch the new Ulaanbaatar-Singapore route will start on November 4 with two weekly flights (Tuesday and Saturday).
According to aeroroutes, MIAT Mongolian Airlines will use its Boeing 767-300ER aircraft on the new route.
Singapore will be MIAT Mongolian Airlines' first destination in Southeast Asia, and the airline's 11th international destination. The airline's current international network includes flights to Frankfurt, Germany; Istanbul, Turkey; Hong Kong; Mainland China (Beijing-Capital, Shanghai-Pudong, Hohot); South Korea (Seoul-Incheon, Busan); and Japan (Tokyo-Narita, Osaka-Kansai).
