After previously announcing the suspension of its flights to/from Doha, Jeddah, and Madinah through March 5 due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, Malaysia Airlines announced a limited resumption of flights to Jeddah and Madinah between March 4-8.

The Malaysian flag carrier will operate three round-trip flights between Kuala Lumpur and Jeddah, and two between Kuala Lumpur and Madinah during the period. The airline noted that the announced services could be revised and adjusted as needed, and services after March 8 remain under review.

Malaysia Airlines previously announced the suspension of flights on the three Middle East routes between February 28 through March 5.

Services to Doha remain suspended until March 7 as the airline continues to asses the security situation.

All other flights – including services to London Heathrow and Paris Charles de Gaulle remain on schedule. The flights on the two European routes are using alternative routes well clear of the affected conflict zone.
