Malaysia Airlines is expanding its services between Malaysia and the Middle East with a third daily flight between Kuala Lumpur and Doha, Qatar this summer.
From June 30, the third daily flight will operate along with the current twice-daily flights between Kuala Lumpur and Doha (MH160/MH161 and MH164/MH165). The outbound flight MH168 will depart Kuala Lumpur for Doha at 2005H. The return flight MH169 will depart the following morning (July 1) at 0235H.
The expanded services to Doha will offer customers of both Malaysia Airlines and Doha-based oneworld partner Qatar Airways access to 120 codeshare destinations via Kuala Lumpur and Doha throughout Asia and Australia, and key destinations in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and North America.
“The introduction of our third daily service to Doha underscores the strong performance of this route and the strategic importance of our partnership with Qatar Airways,” said Bryan Foong, Chief Executive Officer of Airline Business, Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG). “By expanding capacity, we are enhancing access to Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Americas via Hamad International Airport, while leveraging our growing Australian network to support more seamless east–west travel. This expansion strengthens our global connectivity and underscores our commitment to offering customers greater flexibility, and a more integrated travel experience across key global markets.”
