Philippine Airlines is expanding its FurPAL program – which allows for customers to bring their pets with them on their travels – to all domestic flights.

The Philippine flag carrier announced the expansion of the FurPAL program – launched in November 2025 – which lets passengers bring their small dogs with them onboard the aircraft.

According to Philippine Airlines, the program permits the carriage of small dog breeds onboard under the program which weigh less than 10 kilograms, are at least 8 weeks old, and fully weaned. Each passenger can bring one pet, with a limit of three small dogs allowed per flight for a fee of PHP2,500 (~USD $43). It can be booked as an add-on when purchasing the ticket.

The airline also requires pet carriers to be soft-sided, leak-proof, and equipped with pee pads and two ventilation panels. The pet carriers should have a maximum size of 17”x11”x9.5”, and pets must remain in the carrier under the passengers seat-front. Required certificates to presented upon check-in include a veterinary certificate, vaccination card, the PAL waiver and declaration form, and shipping permit form issued by Bureau of Animal Industry. Pet sedation is not permitted.

Philippine Airlines previously launched the FurPAL program on select domestic routes from Manila to Caticlan (Boracay), Tagbilaran (Bohol), and Siargao.
