Ahead of the upcoming holiday season, Philippine Airlines has announced it will boost its flights and capacity across its network. Among the destinations that will see service upgrades are cities in Australia and Japan.
Ahead of the upcoming holiday season, Philippine Airlines has announced it will boost its flights and capacity across its network. Among the destinations that will see service upgrades are cities in Australia and Japan.
Between mid-December and mid-January 2026, Philippine Airlines will double its flights on the Manila-Perth route from three to six times weekly. Services between Manila and Melbourne will be increased from five times weekly to daily.
Philippine Airlines will upgrade the aircraft used on its Manila-Brisbane flights from the Airbus A321neo to the tri-class widebody A330 aircraft. While continuing to use A321neo aircraft to Perth, the airline will also use A330-300 to Melbourne.
From October 26, Philippine Airlines will increase its flights between Manila and Da Nang from three times weekly to daily until March 28, 2026. Services on the Manila-Busan route will increase from seven to eleven times weekly.
Japan
To Japan, Philippine Airlines will operate an additional 12 flights between Manila and Tokyo Narita during the period between December 18 through January 6, 2026 on top of the current twice daily flights. The airline will also operate 12 additional flights between Manila and Osaka Kansai during the period between December 19 through January 7, in addition to the twice daily flights on the route. On top of the current daily Manila-Nagoya flights, the airline will operate three more flights on December 25, 27, and January 3.
Along with the additional flights to Japan, Philippine Airlines will also operate its seasonal service between Manila and Sapporo (three times weekly) starting November 24 through March 27, 2026.
From Cebu, Philippine Airlines will operate an additional five flights between Cebu and Kansai from December 25 through January 3 (currently four-times weekly), while four flights will be operated on top of the daily flights on the Cebu-Narita route from December 28 through January 7.
US
Philippine Airlines will also proceed with its previously announced service increases from three to five-times weekly flights between Manila and Seattle along with the new Cebu-Guam route starting December 16 (three times weekly).
